Educate
Audism, discrimination or prejudice against individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing, stems from misconceptions about deafness. By raising awareness about the language, history, and cultural values of the Deaf community, we aim to promote deafness as an identity and culture.
Communicate
ASL is deeply rooted in the Deaf Culture. Through ASL, we hope to promote communication in the language as well as greater understanding of and sensitivity to the Deaf community.
advocate
By spreading ASL and cultural awareness, our ultimate goal is to encourage others to become allies of the Deaf community. Deaf Allyship includes fighting against misconceptions, helping promote equal and appropriate treatment, and advocating for the civil and linguistic rights of the Deaf community.
